woooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo!! hahahaha! =D
my crysanthamum tea turned out deliciously delicious!!!! =D yummyness to the max!!! hahahaha! =D

mummy!! it's yummy! hahaha! ('cos i put alot of rock sugar so it's very sweet.. hahahahah!!).. and i put in alot of the flowers so it's very thick! hahahahah.. i hope i don't get crysanthamum tea overdose! hahahah! =D
anyway i just got back from our flat's kebab and karaoke night! =D
this is the kebab.. (it wasn't what i expected.. i thought it would be red pepper, chunk of meat, green pepper, another chunk of meat).. turns out to be something like satay.. fat satay.. =D
the chicken one is not bad! not bad at all! hee =D
i drank a glass of orange juice, a glass of sparkling apple juice.. and a glass of alcohol cider!! hahaha! feeling kinda hot hot now.. hahahaha!
then... charmaine and i met new friends!!! woohoo!!! =D

he's studying english in monash.. already has a masters degree in sports management! cool right! then he's planning on doing a phD too! he "specialises" in tennis and rowing! and he's a qualified lifeguard.. and he's gonna take a test to be a qualifed empire for rowing! he's 28! big beefy guy.. hahahah!

oh ya.. the other day while charmaine and i went to the pavilion (this nicey lounge area where there's a huge projector screen where we can watch tv..).. i met this girl from france too! can't really remember her name.. mon something.. hahaha! she's nice too! =D she likes prison break too! hahahah! =D
then there's also rin.. this girl from thailand.. she's like a "leader" in my residence.. verrrrryyyy nice girl.. hee! =D and she calls me nat.. hahahah!! i'm still not used to it!!! hahahha! =D
ok, i'm gonna continue watching my Curse of the Golden Flower on youtube now.. and sip my nicey thick sweet crysanthamum tea!!! wahahahahha!

charmaine and i went to box hill today! our first time.. the bus ride was kinda long on the way there.. and it was SO HOT again.. =( but the bus ride back seems much shorter.. it's always like that.. don't know why leh.. hahaha
box hill is like a bigger chinatown.. got alot of asian grocery shops and eateries.. and i saw Dumpling King!! must go try there one day! =D
i finally bought my crysanthumum!!! they are boiling now.. i hope they turn out well!! =D six dollars worth of crysanthumum.. hahahha!
and look! they have bread top there.. instead of bread talk.. hahahah! i bought pork floss bread!!! hope it's yummy! =D
and look!!! i managed to find teh ping!!!!!!!!!!!!! hee! =D but ex lah! $3.. hahahah! but this is happy me with my teh ping.. =D
and look at our tan feet! mine is thong-tanned feet.. charmaine's is birkie-tanned feet.. hahaha! grossness to the maxxxx.. =(
and yesterday night charmaine and i went out for a walk.. hee.. around 10pm.. shhhh.. don't tell mummy!! hahahaha
we walked to the petrol station near clayton town.. felt like going for a walk lah.. 'cos i ate sooooooo many grapes.. so full.. hahahah! it was funny 'cos we were walking along the main road.. then suddenly out of nowhere a guy ran out and he ran really quickly across the road..
so we concluded... he either: 1. needs to pee very badly... or, 2. he saw a ghost... hahahha!
and bought milk and my Special K cereal!! =D i decided that i shall snack healthly.. hahaha! =D yipee! =D

charmaine and i cooked dinner tonight!! it was yummyness to the max!! =D
boiled carrots, mushroom, corn and green beans... plus red wine + garlic marinated minced beef (masterfoods!! hahaha!).. plus mashed potatoes with butter!!
it was really really yummy!!! and it felt healthy.. hahahaha! the beef was really really nice.. it was the sauce that did the trick lah.. hahaha.. waaaa.. =D =D
and look at the twins' minie!!!! =D =D in CHONG SUM!!! so cute lah!!! hahaha chinese new year minie.. =D serene, remember minie? =D

today charmaine and i went to churchie!!! it's called City Life Church.. took a bus down with jereme and his friend eleanor..
service started off with this lady pastor giving some annoucements.. then there was praise and worship.. then the lady pastor gave some more announcements again and collected offerings..
then the senior pastor, mark conner, preached..
he preached about having a vision.. and about how there are 3 steps.. first is your behavious, second is your skills, third is favour from God.. i thought the most suitable one was the third one.. favour from God.. the rest were sort of like works.. like you have to be optimistic and be skillful and nice to people.. aiya.. only when he talked about how we draw strength from God.. then i felt that that was what God really wants us to hear.. but that part was super short lor! hahaha
then service ended.. it was only like one and a half hours..

anyway, the weather today was really hot again.. up to 38 degrees.. madness to the max!!
after church charmaine and i went to the glen to do some grocery shopping.. we're gonna cook western tonight! hope it turns out well!! =D
we're back home now.. it's early.. 'cos we didn't wanna go out again.. it's too hot!!! oh man. hahahaha

yesterday chai was out with his family so charmaine and i cooked our own dinner! =D
i cooked fried wanton (mummy, i think i bought the wrong type of skin!).. 'cos the wanton skin wasn't very crispy.. but maybe it's 'cos i stinged on the oil.. it was already so oily!!! hahahah... then charmaine cooked tou fu with veggy... yummy!! i love her veggies.. hee.. 'cos got the ikan bilis.. =D
today the three of us ran to pinewood.. but charmaine and i gave up halfway.. hahaha.. so we just walked there.. while chai ran the rest of the way.. it was SO HOT. boo =( the sun is merciless lor..
charmaine and i got lunch and walked around pinewood.. went to coles to buy sausages! and my hot-cross buns!! they are yummy!! =D =D i think to save money and to lose weight, i'll just eat hot-cross buns for breakfast lunchie and dinner.. hee hee! =D won't be that unhealty lah.. 'cos i take my calcium and vitamin C pills.. hahaha
then we visited the nursery!!!! =D charmaine and i have been wanting to get flowers!! =D like a nice little pot.. we walked round and round the nursery.. oh-ing and ah-ing at all the pretty flowers!! i saw really really nice daisies!! but then we couldn't just keep them in the pot.. 'cos they need more space to grow.. and we didn't have a gardening spade.. and didn't wanna spend more money on the spade.. so in the end we left the pretty flowers in the nursery.. =( =( =(
then we went home.. and......... I WAS LOCKED OUT OF MY HOUSE AGAIN. haiiiiiiiiiii... so had to walk UNDER THE HOT HOT HOT HOT SUN.... ALL THE WAY to the operations office at the halls, and back.. sian diao to the max lah!!! burning hot lor!!! =( =( =(
when i got home i faster bathed (felt so good).. and we went to chadstone in search for my fan for my room!! 'cos it's really hot and stuffy at night.. and i cannot really sleep lor.. =( =( =(
anyway we came home.. and then southeastflats had this free bbq for the residents.. we went! =D met charmaine's housemate and her friends.. nice people! =D the bbq was yummy too! but the food was cold already.. but the salad was yummy to the max!! =D
then charmaine and i went back to my place.. we watched Along Came Polly and abit bit of the Grammys...
tomorrow going to churchie! yay! =D haven't been to church for 2 weeks!!! =( =( =(

ok i lost count of the days.. hahahaha
honestly, i can't remember much what did we did in the past 3 days.. hahaha
i know we had enrollment.. quite interesting 'cos it was like NUS all over again.. hahaha! then of course i took a picture for my student id card.. and it looks bad. hahaha! i look so black and fat. hahahaha!
then we met a few singaporean students who were gonna do med..
then chai and charmaine went for their med briefing.. and i went for my radiography one.. met another guy who's doing the same course!!! FINALLY!! hahahah! he's from hong kong and he's called jack.
turns out that there's only 4 international students doing my course.. but only 3 of us turned up on that day.. i wonder who's the last person.. the other person is from china, he's called tony..
so my course administrator briefed us in a small briefing room.. i saw the lecture theatres that we'll be using too.. you know my cohort for this course is like only 46 students!!! madness right.. so 4 are international students.. and the rest for aussies!! scary!!! hahaha i really really hope that they are nice!!!!!! hee =D
then after that i joined chai and charmaine and two of their medicine friends at The Mess at the halls for lunchie.. it was such a long and HOT day!!! and the orientation bag that they gave to us was really heavy!!! haiyoyo.. hahahaha!
then after that.. oh! i think we went to clayton town.. had food to eat.. hahahah! then we walked alllll the way back.. hahahah! quite a long walk.. but good lah.. i think these long walks are good.. so that i can exercise.. hahaha
we were like observing the different houses along the streets.. quite interesting.. hahaha!
then look what we saw!!!!

then charmaine and i saw a nice little tree with red/pink flowers! =D

the next day.. we went to pick up chai's sister-in-law's car at murrembum station..
the three of us all had new phones.. so we were taking pictures of each other so that we can use the pictures as the caller ID.. hahaha

then we headed to ikea!! yay!! my couch!! hahahah! i've been wanting to put a couch in my room! hahahah 'cos my room really looks bad lah! hahahah.. so i bought a red 2-seater couch.. a desk lamp, tea tables, a jug, photo frames, magazine files, shoe rack etc..
spent a grand total of around 280!!! madness right.. i feel so bad.. hahahah! but i really chose all the cheap cheap stuff!!! hahahah..
we pushed everything into the car.. thank God for the car man.. if not we won't be able to transport everything back home.. and thank you chai and charmaine for accompanying me!! =D
then we went home to unload the stuff.. and headed to the city!
it was a long ride and charmaine fell asleep..

then we visited brunswick street.. it's nice!!! =D alot of eateries and interesting boutiques.. =D
then we went to chinatown and randomly chose this chinese restaurant..
we had tom yam soup which was yummyness!! =D
and i had curry chicken noodles! it's kinda different from what i expected.. 'cos i thought it would those soupy sort.. but the chicken was really really tasty! the noodles weren't very nice though.. alright lah..
then we walked around alot 'cos we wanted to digest our food.. too full.. oh lim wei wei!!! i bought a timeout chocolate bar!! hahaha! even though chai and charmaine kept telling me not to.. hahahaha! but i COULDN'T RESIST. hahahah! it's the first time that i'm eating chocolate since i came here okkkk.. hahahhaa
then we headed back home.. and charmaine and i started to set up the couch and stuff!! =D

i went to sleep very early too.. 11pm.. 'cos i had nothing to do.. and the room is very hot and stuffy!!! then i set my alarm for 1230am so that i can make sure chai has woken up and gone out to the airport..
in the end my alarm didn't work and i woke up at 2am!!
then i went to chai's room.. and he was still sleeping!!! i faster woke him up and he rushed out.. hahahaha.. hope he reached earlier than his parents.. hahaha
then this morning.. charmaine and i woke up really late.. hjahaha! around 10? hahahha!
no one was at home lor! when i woke up! my housemates went to the hospital 'cos it was laura's turn to have her wisdom teeth pulled out.. and chai slept over at his brother-in-law's place..
then charmaine and i finally got ready and went to do some admin stuff.. the weather is really really hot!!! boo =(
then we decided to go to Knox City Shopping Centre to check out that place..
the bus ride was kinda long! but we saw like some fruit farm and Mount Dandenong! so cool lor! we were so close that i could even see the trees on the mountain.. hahaha!

i bought my cute bedroom slippers!!! =D finally!

day eleven twelve..
oh my goodness.. you guys won't believe what happened yesterday.. i got locked out of my room!!!
so we woke up today and played badminton.. had alot of fun! =D and charmaine improved so so much it's unbelievable! jia you jia you! =D and we are like aching so so so so so so much now.. hahahaa! it's so hard for me to even bend down to pick something up.. and to take of my shirt too.. hahaha jia lat bo lat ah.. hahahah! =D
then we went back to shower, change into our home clothes, and we cooked a pizza and brought it over to charmaine's house to eat.. then we brought our dishes back to our place to wash..
then i wanted to go back to my room to change into going-out clothes.. then, i realised that my room door was locked!!! and i didn't have the keys!!!
then chai and i realised that HE was the one who locked me out of my room!!!
'cos i was in the kitchen preparing lunch, then when we were all ready to leave the house, he asks if i wanted him to help me close my room door, so i said ok.. but i didn't know he meant, LOCK my room door.. hahaha! so he happily helped me lock my room door while my keys were still inside lor!!!
kongkongkong... so in the end.. i had to borrow his shirt, 'cos my shirt was like really crummy and old.. hahaha! and plus i was wearing red FBT shorts lor! kong..
and we had to walk allll the way to the operations office at the halls (it's FAR), under the HOT sun.. in my horrible clothes (thank God there weren't any clue guys around)... and we managed to get the spare key for my room.. then we had to walk ALL the way back.. kong.. hahaha
oh man, i really couldn't believe that i got locked out.. hahahah! but we found it really really amusing and we were just laughing like mad lah.. hahahah! oh man. hahahaha
anyway today we went to get some groceries.. then we cooked lunch... then we went out to chadstone for a movie.. watched Dreamgirls.. really alot of songs.. hahaha! and when they quarrel, it's also in song.. hahahha! but i liked a couple of songs! really nice! =D
oh! we had nandos for dinner. oh man, YUMMYNESS. hahahahah! =D

day eight nine ten.. hee =D
wa.. jia lat i can't remember what happened three days ago..
oh!! i know! charmaine came!! hahaha! then we went chadstone... oh! we met some other residents too! there's this mentor who's really nice.. and we played bowling.. wa.. super ex lah! $12/game leh! but.. i got the highest score!! wahahahah! madness lah.. it's really really fluke.. 'cos i haven't played since primary school? yeah.. madness.. hahahah
oh ya, and i intro-ed myself as "natalie" to the people.. hahaha! so yeah.. hahahaha! 'cos really very mah fan and irritating to teach them how to pronounce my name lah..
then.. day nine.. chai, his sister-in-law and i went to play tennis! fun! haven't played in a long time.. really rusty.. hahaha.. then i started to rain soooo heavily.. we were soooo drenched. hahaha
then we cooked!
mummy, we cooked pompret! hahaha! and prawns and this veggy dish where there was SO MUCH spring onions. hahaha! alot alot alot.. and we put wrong seasoning! we put cinamon seasoning.. yucky.. hahaha! too sweet..
oh ya! we made agar agar.. threw apples and watermelon in too.. not very very tasty.. hahaha! but still alright lah.. i think shouldn't have put the apples in.. hee..
then we went for a walk after that 'cos chai was too full.. we walked quite far! to clayton town.. but it wasn't tiring at all.. nice walk.. hahaha
day ten...
we wanted to go to church.. so we all woke up early.. but we missed the bus!! damn.. so in the end we didn't go..
then we went to the city.. hahaha
walked around.. bought stuff.. then we wanted to go ikea.. we took the bus.. went there.. but couldn't find the place.. so we gave up.. and took the bus back.. hahaha! total waste of time..
then we saw this hugeeeee carnival in the city in a park.. so we decided to just go and look look see see..
when i went in i had this funny funny vibe... then we realised, shit, we were in a GAY and LESBIAN carnival!!!!!! hahahahahah! shit. hahahah! but it was really really interesting. hahaha! and there were ALOT of people. hahaha! oh man. hahahahah!
then we went to federation square.. oh ya, it was SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO windy today. hahahaha! but it wasn't cold wind.. it was really nice STRONG wind. hahahaha!
then we just laid on the grass.. 'cos it was so cool.. =D and it was just so so shiok. that's the life lah. hahahah!

day seven..
woke up at 9am again.. had breakfast.. chai went for his haircut.. i stayed home to bathe and chat with serene! =D
went to clayton town to get more groceries.. came home to cook lunchie
dish one: chicken + nutmeg powder + soya sauce + oyster sauce + garlic + onions + carrot + veggy
dish two: 2 eggs + prawns
yummy =D and we finally had rice after a week! =D
the clouds were finally out too! =D

then we went to the Melbourne Aquarium! nice nice place! saw soooo many sea creatures.. really really cool.. and we even had a stimulator ride! =D
then we went to get somemore kitchen stuff.. FINALLY got a dinner set!!! =D so happy.. =D and it's nice too! and it's cheap!!! $19 only.. =D
then we wanted to eat at chinatown 'cos we were so hungry.. but couldn't find any parking in the city! so we decided to drive down to st. kilda.. chai randomly chose Acland Court.. this shopping centre we saw in the Melway.. so in our quest to find that, we found a nice carnival going on in st. kilda!! =D
can you imagine chilling out at this place? and you can just sit on the grass and have your dinner and just chill.. and we watched another magician act.. but the first one that we saw at crown was nicer.. =D
we tried a hotdog for one of the stalls at the carnival.. snag shack.. hahaha!

then we had macs.. and we wanted to try one of the many cake shops along the street!
you know, i can only imagine seeing these kind of cake shops in story books.. these pictures are taken from the shop's display window.. cool right?
then we decided to try one shop called Monarch.. they had quite a few newspaper cuttings on its door.. and it has been there since ninteen forty something i think.. even though it looked ancient and not many people were in there.. we decided to try it! =D
they still used the anicent weighing scale and cash register!!! damn damn cool! the cash register! it's those old old kinds..

and we asked the lady what's their famous cake.. and she said it was the chocolate kourger or something like that lah! i don't know how to spell the name..hahaha
it was YUMMY. hahahahah! really so so nice.. so soft.. and so tasty.. and yet not too rich.. yumminess!! it was cheaper than the chocolate cake we got from Greeco at Crown Casino, and much yummier too! =D
st. kilda is a really wonderful place.. it's like the perfect place to chill out.. they have a fantastic beach there.. and so many eateries along the streets.. shiok man. hee =D i'm gonna go there next time when i need a break from my studies! hee =D
